UNION YOGA TEACHER TRAINING

Training for a lifetime

Union Yoga Teacher Training – A no-compromise training for serious yoga practitioners

Union Yoga Teacher Training was established in 2001 and has trained hundreds of yoga teachers.

The aim of our training courses is to provide the highest standards in teaching and to motivate our graduates to be an inspiration to their students. We believe that good teaching is based on a firm foundation, which includes a strong personal practice and an understanding of the roots of Yoga and their role in modern yoga classes. The number of our graduates who have changed their careers (and their lives!) and chosen yoga as their sole profession, or opened their own yoga studios, is testament to the successful structure and ethos of our training.

Our courses are offered as both residential and non-residential at the 200 hour level and at the 500 hour level.

They are accredited by Yoga Alliance UK and by the International Yoga Federation. Graduates of these courses are entitled to use the initials RYT (registered yoga teacher) after their name.

"A truly inspirational ashtanga course for those who aspire to be no less than excellent teachers. Brian's enthusiasm and discipline is exemplary, bringing to life all aspects of transforming a personal yoga practice into a confident, genuine and unique teaching style."
Janette, Birmingham

“Brian Coopers Yoga Teacher Training was one of the toughest, yet one of the most rewarding experiences I ever had. I was challenged everyday both physically and mentally. I learned an enormous amount about yoga itself, the physical anatomy, yoga philosophy and teaching. My personal practice evolved to a new level! Before going … get yourself prepared … it is not a cushy course! Know the astanga series, learn the sanskirt names and get yourself physically ready …. work the core!” Mary Jane Eckert, West Sussex
